INTRODUCTION
Our school “San Atón” becomes a semi private school in the academic year 2000- 2001 increasing this way the academic offer on the right bank of the river Guadiana.
The characteristics of the neighborhood that make up this wide area of Badajoz make us consider that the investment on the increase of educational levels is highly necessary for the development of the area the same as programs and successful initiatives.
The school San Atón as it is reflected on its educational project is a school with a very clear objective, to provide a whole quality formation to the students of Secondary education and Bachillerato, paying special attention to the students with learning needs.
Our educational project complements itself with the production of programs and pedagogical initiatives that increase the educational offer in areas such as: sport, ecology, music, arts, mass media and the development of reading and writing.
For that we count with a very well trained staff identified and involved in the students´ educational needs. For that, we offer a kind of education based on a methodology that integrates information and communication technologies and the linguistic competence as well.
